I often think about Lloyd and what a fun guy he was. I clearly remember the night he died - Eric Mckay, Byron Smith and I were at his house waiting for him to arrive. We waited and waited, finally we decided to head back to Vulcan. We met the ambulance on the way to town not knowing it was rushing to Lloyd. I'll always remember looking at his picture on top of the family piano. So sad... Eleanor Sokvitne Decker.

Lloyd was the first close friend to die. The tragedy of it remains with me. He was so full of life, so easy to be with. He is still missed. Sandi

Our shared sorrow in the loss of our classmate Lloyd did indeed affect us and is a memorable, in its sadness, part of our high school experience. Long may you run Lloyd.

Lloyd was a very special young man. He was my first date. I asked him to a Saddie Hawkins dance. I guess another girl had asked him too, but he hated to say no to anyone, so he put our names in a bowl and drew a name out so as not to hurt anyones feelings. I was the lucky one drawn. Wasn't that just the sweetest thing!! He was so kind and a crazy at the same time. Miss you lots lloyd and always will. Charlotte.

Notice how just women have commented in memory. That is because we all remember how dark, tall and handsome he was. Just kidding - about the dark part. But jest aside, he a person if you met and knew, you would not forget. His nature was gentle and friendly, and has been missed. Especially as we look at that face and smile again we came to know as high school buddies, it saddens us to think of him not among us.
