It was with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Gordon Nolan this last year. We were the best of friends all through Junior High and High School when both of us were growing up and learning about life. He'll be missed - Rob Budd

I too was saddened to hear of the death of Gordon Nolan. We lived beside each other until grade 3 when we moved to the other side of town. I remember walking to school with Gordon many times in grade 1 and 2. Eleanor Sokvitne Decker.

Gord was the little guy with a big heart. I would often play with Gord and his buddies when I was at Kathy's. I didn't know at the time why I liked him so much, but now I know it was because he was just Gord. Sandi

Gord was another great guy. So sad when I heard of his passing on. He had a wonderful family and was such a tragedy to them all. He was quiet natured and always friendly. We'll miss you in June Gord!! Charlotte

When I saw this High School photo it brought back a flood of memories but the smile was the best. He was always friendly but most of all kind to all who knew him. I wish his family all the best during this next year as they go forward to live their lives and honor his name, goodness and legacy.

Gord was a big part of our family during school years and after.  He came with his wife out to the farm to visit and was at many family functions cause he was our extended family. My sister and family stayed in touch with him and his family.  It was so sad when he lost his battle to stay with us but he is now at peace. Love and miss you Gord.

Gord and I were good friends in High school and beyond, Gord was the one who first called me Mr. Spock Because of something I said in Miss Crag's class, I don't member what it was but it stuck. Even Don Hansen at times called me Mr. Spock.

Gord was one of my long term friends even after moving to Banff we seen eachother several times. I will miss a good friend and buddy.
